Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

Ashirwad Novelties Wholesale LLC wants every trade buyer to be able to read our catalogue and contact us, regardless of how they browse the web — with a screen reader, with a keyboard only, at high magnification, with reduced motion enabled, or on a small phone screen in poor light.

Accessibility is not a project that finishes. We treat it as part of maintaining the Site, and we fix what we find.

2. Standard we aim for

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning and neurological disabilities.

We describe our current status as partially conformant: most of the Site meets the standard, and we are working on the remainder.

3. What we have done

• Semantic HTML landmarks, so assistive technology can navigate by region and heading;
• A "skip to content" link as the first focusable element on every page;
• Visible focus outlines on every interactive element, never removed;
• Full keyboard operation — navigation, catalogue filters, carousel and form all work without a mouse;
• Text and background colours checked for contrast against the WCAG AA thresholds;
• Meaningful alternative text on product photography, and empty alt attributes on decorative images so screen readers skip them;
• Form fields with real <label> elements, error messages linked with aria-errormessage, and aria-invalid kept in step with the visible error state;
• Errors that never rely on colour alone — each carries an icon and an explanatory sentence;
• The carousel pauses on hover, on keyboard focus and when the browser tab is hidden;
• Full respect for prefers-reduced-motion: animation and smooth scrolling are switched off when your system asks for it;
• Layout that reflows to a single column without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels wide, and remains usable at 200% zoom;
• Touch targets sized for comfortable use on a phone.

4. Known limitations

We are aware of the following and are working on them:

• Product photographs are supplied by our manufacturing partners; a few have busy backgrounds that reduce clarity at high magnification. We re-shoot these as designs are refreshed.
• Alternative text on catalogue images describes the product but not every decorative detail of the illustration.
• On devices without a hover capability, the second photograph of each product is revealed by tapping the card rather than being available as a separate gallery.
• Our typefaces are loaded from a third-party font service; if that service is blocked, the Site falls back to system fonts and looks plainer but remains fully readable.

5. Using this site

• Keyboard — Tab moves forward, Shift+Tab back, Enter or Space activates. Esc closes the mobile menu.
• Carousel — once a carousel control has focus, ← and → move between slides, and automatic advance stops while you are there.
• Zoom — Ctrl/Cmd with + or − enlarges the page; the layout reflows rather than clipping.
• Reduced motion — enable the setting in your operating system and the Site will stop animating.
• Reader mode — our legal pages and long-form sections are structured to work well in browser reading modes.

6. Alternative ways to reach us

If the inquiry form is difficult for you to use for any reason, you do not have to use it. Email or telephone us with the same information and you will get exactly the same service — there is no advantage to using the form.

We are also glad to read out a price list over the phone, to send our catalogue as plain text or large print, or to take an order entirely by telephone. Just ask.

7. Report a barrier

If you hit something on this Site that you cannot use, please tell us. Describe the page, what you were trying to do and what happened — and mention the browser and assistive technology you use, if you know them. We aim to respond within two business days and to fix confirmed barriers as quickly as we reasonably can.
